Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to lead and execute complex projects in the Texture & Health segment. You will drive scope, schedule and budget using PMIS, develop detailed process designs, and advance new technologies with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with Finance, Maintenance & Reliability, and other partners to ensure alignment and governance, travel up to 25% as needed, and contribute to best operating practices and capital project success.

Qualifications

• Degree or advanced degree in engineering or equivalent experience desired.
• Typically, between five to ten years of project and process engineering experience desired.
• Knowledge of Wet Milling industry or relevant experience in other industries with substantial experience in research, engineering, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Designs and executes multiple complex projects delivering scope, time and cost according to a plan.
• Ensures the use of PMIS to execute projects with proper governance and KPI reports.
• Develops complex engineering designs, mass and energy balances, P&ID development, and advanced process control strategies.
• Facilitates implementation of new technologies and approaches across the organization.
• Implements best practices that have proven successes inside and outside the company.
• Improves process efficiencies to achieve cost optimization and value through capital project implementation.
