Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Engineering to lead a multi-site capital portfolio, develop complex project plans, manage budgets, and mentor a team of project engineers to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget capital investments.

You will apply data-driven decision making, establish standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive operational excellence and reliability improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in manufacturing.
• Strong capital planning, budgeting, scheduling, and project closeout knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex project plans and capital investment proposals, including financial analysis, cost estimates and business case justification.
• Leads and mentors a team of project engineers to deliver capital projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Develops and executes capital investment strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Provides leadership for capital projects by setting standards and ensuring compliance across functions.
• Leads root cause analyses, continuous improvement efforts and manages major maintenance initiatives.
