Job summary

Triversity Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to serve as a project technical source, interpreting plans and specifications and resolving questions as they arise. You will maintain knowledge of client requirements, subcontracts, and purchase orders, coordinate change orders, expedite materials, and prepare project estimates for cost control and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, civil or mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of commensurate construction experience.
• Knowledge of contract documents and how trades are contractually obligated.
• Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and related programs.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications; resolve questions; coordinate change orders.
• Expedite materials; prepare project estimates; maintain cost control; assist close-out activities.
• Lead project administration; assemble monthly progress reports and deliverables.
• Monitor CPM schedule and identify factors affecting time, cost, and quality.
• Maintain strong customer service and effective cross-team collaboration.
