Job summary

TriVersity Construction Company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to serve as the project’s technical source, interpreting plans and specs and resolving questions as they arise.

You will coordinate change orders, expedite materials, prepare estimates and cost control documents, maintain project logs, assemble progress reports, and lead risk and safety practices while working with a proactive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, civil or mechanical engineering.
• 2+ years of commensurate experience in construction projects.
• Knowledge of contract documents and trade obligations.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Awareness of project safety and insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Research and manage RFIs; review submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate change orders and develop scopes of work for bid packages.
• Prepare and issue bid package supplements; support negotiations.
• Lead pay applications and cost control activities; maintain project logs.
• Assemble monthly progress reports and other customer deliverables.
• Monitor CPM schedule and manage time, cost, and risks.
