Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee capital projects, planning, budgeting, installation, and contractor management on assigned initiatives.

You will report to the Director of Engineering and provide project leadership to achieve high safety, cost, quality, and schedule performance. Expect strong interaction with internal customers and external contractors, with weekly travel and possible weekend work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in engineering or construction.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Engineering and provides regular project updates.
• Lead projects to meet safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Develop budgets, track costs, and manage scope and procurement.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Prepare scope of work, cost estimates, and schedules for capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
