Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a Senior Project Engineer to oversee capital projects, plan and design budgets, and manage contractors and vendors across multiple initiatives. You will report to the Director of Engineering and lead project teams to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires travel weekly, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, and at least five years of project management experience (ten years can substitute the degree).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or related field.
• 5 years of project management experience in the industry or related fields; 10 years can substitute for degree.
• Strong computer literacy including AutoCAD, BIM, Navisworks, Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Engineering and provides regular project status updates.
• Leads safety, cost control, quality, and team dynamics on assigned capital projects.
• Develops scopes of work, budgets, and schedules; manages contractors and vendors.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company standards during project execution.
