Job summary

CS Construction is seeking a Project Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support our growing portfolio of large-scale commercial multifamily projects. This role offers a path to Senior Project Engineer with hands-on involvement in complex builds and a collaborative team focused on mentorship and professional growth.

You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with document control, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and procurement, coordinate with design teams and subcontractors, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction (multifamily experience a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in construction management software and document control systems.
• Ready to take ownership, solve problems, and grow into a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with document control, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and procurement.
• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist with change orders, cost tracking, and field issue resolution.
• Participate in jobsite walks and inspections.
• Help keep fast-paced projects on track, on budget, and on schedule.
