Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5+ years of land development experience.
• Strong knowledge of New Jersey land development regulations and permitting processes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software such as HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Manage land development projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction.
• Prepare and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and parking lot designs.
• Design stormwater management systems in accordance with New Jersey regulations.
• Develop engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate municipal, county, and state permitting and land use approvals.
• Prepare and review Soil Erosion & Sediment Control plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce high-quality engineering plans.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, planners, environmental consultants, and utility companies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff while providing quality control reviews.
• Attend client meetings, municipal hearings, and project site visits as needed.
