Job summary
Conrad Consulting seeks a Professional Engineer (PE) with land development and civil engineering experience in New Jersey. You will prepare and review site plans, grading, drainage designs, utility plans, and related documents for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
You will coordinate with architects, surveyors, environmental consultants, and other professionals while ensuring compliance with NJ regulations and project deadlines. PE licensure in NJ is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey.
- Experience with land development and site design.
- Knowledge of New Jersey municipal and stormwater regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil engineering plans for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
- Design site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway improvements.
- Prepare plans and reports for submission to New Jersey municipalities and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with architects, surveyors, environmental consultants, and other project professionals.
- Review zoning, design standards, and applicable New Jersey regulations.
- Attend project meetings and communicate with clients, municipalities, and contractors.
- Review construction plans and provide support during construction when needed.
- Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
- Sign and seal engineering plans and documents as required.
