Job summary

Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in Southfield, MI is seeking a Project Engineer for the Interiors Research & Development team to drive interior system development from concept to launch. You will deliver CAD outputs, DFMEA, BOMs, design reviews, and customer submissions, coordinating with technicians and suppliers to keep programs moving on time.

The role requires a bachelor’s in plastics or related engineering with 4–7 years of experience (or a master’s with 3–6 years) and strong

Qualifications

Degree in plastics or related engineering; relevant certifications are a plus.
4–7 years experience (Bachelor's) or 3–6 years with Master's; automotive experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and project‑coordination skills; ability to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

Drive development of interior systems from concept through launch, meeting safety, quality, cost, and customer requirements.
Deliver CAD, DFMEA, BOMs, design reviews, customer submissions, and issue resolution on time and accurately.
Collaborate with technicians, designers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and keep programs moving.
