Job summary

Expleo USA seeks an Interior Accessories Design & Release Engineer to join our team in Troy, Michigan. You will design and release interior components for Mopar accessory programs, lead change management, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time launches.

The role requires BS in Mechanical Engineering, strong communication, and hands-on experience with interior automotive components and CAD tools. Expect collaboration across engineering, suppliers, and Manufacturing on-site in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing automotive interior accessories and components.
• Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, and PPAP is a plus.
• Experience with plastic injection molded components and interior materials.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Source Package documents.
• Design and release interior accessories and components for Mopar programs.
• Lead engineering change management and PPAP approvals.
• Support supplier development and prototype testing.
• Lead weekly engineering meetings with suppliers and Mopar team members.
• Track projects for on-time program launches.
