Job summary

Prince in Naples, FL is seeking a senior construction project engineer/manager to lead large-scale infrastructure projects valued at over $50 million. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage RFIs, change orders, and ensure conformance to FDOT standards from layout through completion.

Responsibilities include developing work plans, supervising subcontractors, controlling costs, and ensuring safety and quality programs are implemented.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with Cast-In-Place concrete walls and related structures.
• Working knowledge of FDOT standards, specs and QC requirements; ability to interpret plans and drawings.
• Experience on FDOT roadway or bridge projects; coordination of formwork and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings with stakeholders to drive progress, schedule, and issue resolution on projects over $100 million.
• Coordinate technical information between teams and the project owner ensuring access to timely data.
• Evaluate data, review specifications, and ensure conformance to design standards.
• Respond to RFIs and manage non-conformance actions with approval from the Engineer of Record.
• Identify conflicts/delays and propose process changes to improve efficiency.
• Develop operational work plans and monitor construction activities to ensure timely completion.
• Estimate quantities, prepare budgets, and maintain bill of materials for large projects.
• Manage subcontractor contracts and change orders to meet specs and schedule.
• Schedule inspections to verify QA/QC and coordinate surveying operations.
• Implement Safety, Health & Environmental programs across sites.
