Job summary

HNTB is seeking a senior geotechnical engineer in Philadelphia, PA to lead design calculations, analyses, and technical reports for complex infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with project managers, and ensure deliverables meet schedule and budget requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s or PhD preferred depending on experience.
• 7–8+ years of relevant experience for senior level roles.
• Experience with geotechnical analysis software and multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior‑level technical expertise to develop and review design calculations and reports.
• Leads discipline delivery on complex/ multi‑disciplinary projects and coordinates with clients and teammates.
• Mentors junior staff and provides feedback to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
• Supports marketing responsibilities including proposal generation and scope development.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s technical work.
