Job summary

HNTB in the United States seeks a senior engineer to lead discipline planning, oversee schedules and budgets, and guide a team on large infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with clients and partners, mentor staff, and contribute to proposal development to win work.

The role requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s (or PhD) in Engineering with relevant experience and PE certification. Travel to project sites in Boston, Parsippany, Philadelphia or Rocky Hill may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience.
• PE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work; manage schedule and budget on projects.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of project team’s work and mentor the team.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterpart and teaming partners.
• Work with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
