Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead Site Master Plan activities at the Tampa manufacturing site. You will manage scope, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams to deliver complex capital projects that support current and future operations.

Responsibilities include developing detailed project charters, coordinating with external vendors, ensuring compliance with FDA cGMP and EU GMP Annex 1, and presenting updates to site leadership.

Qualifications

• BS/MS Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline; PMP preferred.
• 8+ years in Engineering/Construction Management with capital projects.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech facility design and operations.
• Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing, cleanrooms, HVAC, regulatory needs.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SMP project plans with milestones and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams for infrastructure, facility, and utility upgrades.
• Manage capital projects from scope to start-up and qualification.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and resource plans aligned to targets.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for design, construction, and commissioning.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FDA cGMP, EU GMP Annex 1) in manufacturing.
