Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City (on-site) seeks an experienced Lead Project Engineer to drive integration on the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program. You will lead technical and programmatic efforts across cross-functional teams, manage risk, and coordinate with customers, regulators, and suppliers to deliver milestones.

Role requires top-level communication, strong engineering background, and ability to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience performing complex engineering or system integration work.
• 7+ years’ experience in leading and/or managing complex projects.
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners.
• Ability to travel 10% - primarily domestic; some periods may exceed this value.

Responsibilities

• Lead special projects and initiatives in safety, certification, and performance, as directed by leadership.
• Aircraft design and/or analysis experience within Airframe, Flight Sciences, Mission Systems, Propulsion, or Systems, with certification and FAA regulatory work.
• Develop integrated plans, establish and lead teams, monitor and respond to technical developments.
• Manage risk & opportunities, and support cross-functional issues across teams.
• Lead cross-functional technical integration, certification and project management to deliver airplanes and production readiness.
• Lead investigations to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Communicate with internal/external customers, regulators and suppliers.
