Job summary

RTX is seeking a qualified engineer for the Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) group in the US. The role focuses on coordinating with Integrated Product Team Leads, managing supplier resources, and driving validation activities across engine program milestones.

Proficiency with Agile practices and Jira/Confluence is desired to communicate status and technical content to stakeholders. The position requires a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree with substantial experience, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience or
• Masters Degree with 3+ years of experience
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Integrated Product Team Leads to meet task and technical requirements.
• Coordinate and lead supplier resources to meet hardware delivery requirements and milestones.
• Participate in validation activities, including engine build and test, during the validation phase.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure task requirements are met.
• Utilize Agile methodology and Jira/Confluence to manage and present status and technical content.
• Plan and manage budget and schedule in accordance with negotiated deliverables.
