Job summary

Cti is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the development of our next‑generation gas detection instrumentation, bridging design and execution across the full product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing launch. You will head cross‑functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, drive design, prototyping, testing, validation, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

The role requires a strong technical background in engineering and 5–7 years of instrumentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Systems preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in instrumentation development.
• Experience with sensor technologies or ruggedized electronic devices.
• Familiarity with ISO-style Quality Systems and safety/compliance testing.
• Proficiency with project management tools and CAD/EDA software.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex instrumentation projects on time and on budget.
• Develop product specifications and estimate costs vs target margins in collaboration with sales/marketing.
• Drive design, prototyping, testing, and validation within a QMS framework.
• Create detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and manage risks and budgets.
• Conduct design reviews, FMEA, and root-cause analyses for engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with procurement and external vendors to source components and transition to manufacturing.
