Air Force Test Center seeks a Full-Time General Engineer (NH-03-0801) at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, to serve as a senior project manager for Improvement and Modernization, Maintenance & Repair and Minor Construction, and Military Construction projects. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers and technicians to execute routine and multi-year programs across disciplines.

Ideal candidates will have five+ years of planning, designing, and executing civil projects, with experience

Competenze

• Must have knowledge of a broad range of professional engineering concepts, principles, practices, techniques, and methods in building design and construction; familiarity with engineering disciplines and codes.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and projects from planning through execution.
• Experience briefing leadership and stakeholders on project status.

Mansioni

• Provides complete facility planning and programming for assigned projects; establishes facility and infrastructure requirements for mission accomplishment.
• Evaluates requests for new construction, renovation, and improvements of real property facilities and infrastructure.
• Conducts site surveys, studies, and economic analyses to determine feasibility of renovation vs. new construction.
• Creates programming documents and supports congressional funding approvals.
• Provides construction management and O&M support to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinates with engineers, architects, planners and contracting staff; delivers progress briefings to installation management.
• Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and uses CAD software to meet project design parameters.
