Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Project Engineer for the F-18 Programs to join the F/A-18 Project Engineering Team in Berkeley, MO. This role serves as the primary technical contact to the F/A-18 customer and Boeing leadership, managing project plans and performance. This 100% onsite position requires U.S.

Citizenship, ability to obtain a security clearance, and travel up to 10%. Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 9+ years related work experience, 5+ years in engineering.
• 1+ years in project or program management.
• 5+ years communicating with internal/external customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge to integrate related engineering disciplines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads Engineering Change Proposal activity from RFP through closeout.
• Coordinates with leads, product teams, suppliers and services partners.
• Oversees cost, schedule, performance metrics and reporting to leadership.
• Maintains customer relationships and ensures timely deliverables.
• Plans resources across life of project; defines risk mitigation plans.
• Competes actual results to baseline and captures lessons learned.
• Provides technical, business and integration for project plans.
