Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the F/A-18 SEIT team. The role focuses on technical integration for software development and advanced systems, leading cross-functional integration to ensure safety and product quality.

You will manage requirements, configurations, and certification activities, while building strong partnerships with US Navy and internal teams to drive program success. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 7+ years’ related engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Lead integration across multiple engineering and program teams to ensure safety, technical excellence, and product integrity.
• Manage requirements and ensure full traceability; oversee configuration of the integrated system.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Navy, engineering functions, and program management to drive program success.
• Oversee technical baseline including mission systems configuration, performance measures, architecture diagrams, and RIO assessments.
• Investigate anomalies in partnership with Mission Systems to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Lead software configuration set (SCS) engineering change proposals and labor estimates; present at reviews.
• Maintain Interface Control Working Group and Mission Systems Architecture Diagrams.
