Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its Self-Perform Commercial Drywall Division in Dallas, TX. This role supports the project team with core project management activities, including procurement, material tracking, change orders, cost control, quality management, and scheduling.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with trades, and help implement Lean principles across the project lifecycle while ensuring closeout documentation and LEED-related submittals are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Lean processes and self-performed labor productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provides training and mentorship to junior team members.
• Coordinates, maintains, and understands drawings, specs, and documents.
• Assembles monthly reports and project plans.
• Develop and maintain submittals, drawings, specs, and RFI logs.
• Assist in updating and maintaining the construction schedule and weekly updates.
• Directly involved in project closeout and documentation delivery.
• Support Lean principles throughout the project lifecycle.
• Organize documentation for LEED certification.
