Job summary

The Beck Group in Dallas/Fort Worth area seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support our Self-Perform Commercial Drywall Division. You will manage core project management functions including procurement, material tracking, change order pricing, quality control, and documentation, reporting to an Assistant Project Manager or above.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with trades, and help maintain schedules, submittals, drawings, and inspection logs while driving Lean initiatives and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Lean processes and self-performed labor productivity.
• Thorough understanding of project documents and local building codes.
• Experience using Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, or comparable construction technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
• Coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings, specs, and documents.
• Assemble and manage submittals, drawings, specifications, and RFI logs.
• Assist in updating project schedules and provide weekly updates.
• Support Lean principles throughout the project lifecycle and closeout.
