Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Senior Project Engineer to join our team on exciting commercial construction projects. You will read drawings, coordinate RFIs, track submittals, and support project procurement and scheduling.

With 2–4 years of design-build experience and a bachelor's in construction engineering/management, you will work closely with the project team, subcontractors and Owner to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of commercial construction experience in a design-build environment.
• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management required.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, POs, contracts, and cost coding.
• Familiarity with estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.

Responsibilities

• Generate RFIs and track approvals.
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and coordination.
• Field verify dimensions and support shop drawing approvals.
• Coordinate deliveries with vendors and subcontractors.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Site logistics.
• Participate in permit inspection processes and weekly meetings.
• Assist in project procurement and bid form evaluation.
• Support budgeting, subcontract pricing, and project close-out tasks.
• Assist in take-offs and unit cost analysis for estimating.
