Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Project and Component Engineer for its Canoga Park, CA site. You will drive multi-phase projects, manage cost and schedule, and coordinate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure successful program execution.

The role requires a strong background in aerospace/mechanical engineering, integration experience, and familiarity with CREO and Windchill. Travel up to 20% and eligibility for US security clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Graduate degree preferred with relevant engineering experience.
• Minimum years of experience as specified in job posting; advanced test and qualification experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project activities across multiple phases to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance goals.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to coordinate project execution.
• Develop and monitor project plans and support management briefings for program reviews.
• Lead Technical Readiness Reviews and Qualification Report preparation.
