Job summary

Ilocatum in Milwaukee designs and manufactures fully customized automated assembly equipment for customers across diverse industries. The Sr.

Project Engineer will own projects from concept to completion, coordinating mechanical design, robotics, vision systems, and controls. You will lead design teams, manage resources and schedules, communicate with customers and stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining budget and design release integrity.

Qualifications

• Responsible for overall design of a custom automated machine contracted for a client.
• Lead design efforts and coordinate teams for large projects.
• Communicate design time, tasks, timeline, and milestones to team and customers.
• Experience with robotics, vision systems, controls, and GD&T is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of custom automated equipment from concept to completion.
• Break down design tasks, assign resources, and manage timelines.
• Regularly update customers and management on project status.
• Coordinate with internal and external design contractors as needed.
