Job summary

Washington Headquarters Services, based in Fairfield, PA, seeks a General Engineer to manage major design, renovation, and construction projects at Raven Rock Mountain Complex. You will serve as project manager and COR for studies and programs.

You will participate in budgeting for PRMRF and MILCON projects, perform cost/risk analyses, and review design plans for accuracy and code compliance. A BS in engineering and a year of specialized experience are required, with TS clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering from ABET-accredited program (or equivalent education/experience).
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in managing design, renovation, and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as General Engineer, project manager, and COR for major design, renovation, and construction projects and studies.
• Participate in program planning and budgeting for PRMRF and MILCON construction programs.
• Perform cost, risk, and benefit analysis to support optimal courses of action for major projects and programs.
• Review studies, scopes of work, and design plans for technical accuracy and code compliance.
• Provide written and oral reports to site and Pentagon management.
• Develop original plans, design analyses, and specifications in your primary engineering discipline.
