Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for on-site support of the FSRM and MILCON programs. The role focuses on planning, engineering oversight, and delivery across bases and regional locations through effective coordination with COR, Det 2, and HQ PACAF/A4C.

The position demands 8+ years in engineering/project management, strong communication, and familiarity with asset management and DoW data systems; PMP is preferred and AF experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited school.
• Master’s Degree in technical discipline such as engineering, architecture, construction and/or project management is a plus.
• 8+ years’ experience within the last 10 years, focusing on engineering and engineering project management.
• PMP Certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and project management support for FSRM and MILCON Programs.
• Develop plans for overseeing FSRM and MILCON in collaboration with HQ PACAF/A4C.
• Participate in regular stakeholder meetings and review program deliverables.
• Ensure on-target program assessments, planning, and deliverable execution for AFIMSC Det 2.
• Work with COR and client to receive and manage deliverables, review invoices, and optimize processes.
• Facilitate project meetings with contractors and internal government clients; present recommendations.
