Qualifications

• 4-year college degree, preferably in a construction-related field.
• General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and understand architectural and engineering drawings.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to take responsibility.
• Minimum of six months of jobsite experience required.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate as needed.
• 1-2 years of commercial construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals.
• Monitor shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination.
• Field verify dimensions to back check the shop drawing approval process.
• Assist in coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Understand overall site logistics.
• Participate in the permit inspection process.
• Keep plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.
• Accompany Ryan personnel on Punchlist inspections.
• Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule.
• Prepare agendas and minutes for weekly construction meetings.
• Assist Project Manager with project procurement.
• Prepare and control budget for selected small projects.
