Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for our National Mission Critical team in the Phoenix area.

You will assist the project team by handling RFIs, maintaining the shop drawing log, and coordinating vendor deliveries while learning Ryan processes and safety policies. Ideal candidates hold a construction engineering/management degree and have 1+ year of commercial construction experience, with Procore exposure and a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field is required.
• 1+ year of experience in commercial construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of RFIs, shop drawings, scheduling and coordination is desirable.
• Experience with Procore or other construction management software is a plus.
• Design-build construction experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in generating RFIs and tracking approvals.
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and coordination.
• Learn dimensional control and verification for shop drawings.
• Coordinate and track vendor and subcontractor deliveries.
• Follow Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures and learn site logistics.
• Engage in permit inspection processes and punchlist activities.
• Support project scheduling and coordination activities.
