Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of construction engineering experience.
• Experience supervising or coordinating engineering teams.
• Experience with design-build or alternative project delivery methods.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, contracts, and quality standards.
• Experience monitoring budgets, costs, and production.
• Identify schedule risks and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with cost coding, quantity tracking, and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities with engineering and field teams to maintain project schedules and productivity.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and overall performance.
• Develop short-term work plans, track project costs, and prepare progress reports for leadership.
• Identify potential project risks, delays, and cost overruns while implementing corrective solutions.
• Manage RFIs, technical submittals, and construction documentation throughout project execution.
• Support quality control, inspections, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance, delegate responsibilities, and oversee engineering team performance.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency.
• Promote jobsite safety and assist with project closeout, turnover, and final documentation.
