Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support field activities and assist the Project Manager with project administration across multiple small projects or one medium to large project.

The role often acts as the go-to person, may supervise support functions such as QA/QC, scheduling, and cost control, and requires coordination with the Superintendent and Project Manager to optimize resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience, or 8 years’ construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of Primavera and Timberline.

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Manager on cost and schedule management, including billings and earned value reports.
• Manages development of critical path schedules for medium to large projects.
• Analyzes targets, job cost summaries, and other reports.
• Reviews change orders with the Project Manager and tracks status.
• Oversees procurement and approves field purchase orders.
• Ensures safe work environment and supports QA/QC, scheduling, and cost control.
