Josh Pros LLC is seeking a Project Engineer III for a full-time, on-site role in Kankakee, IL. You will lead end-to-end civil design, including site grading, drainage, and roadway improvements, while mentoring CAD technicians and junior engineers.

Under the Principal Engineer, you balance hands-on production with project coordination, liaising with municipal clients and regulatory agencies to advance infrastructure projects on schedule.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Illinois P.E. license required; EIT considered for an immediate track to licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for liaison with municipalities and staff.
• Mastery of civil design software; flood study modeling and site/utility design.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the planning, design, and permitting for site development and roadway projects; manage a team of engineers.
• Independently produce construction plans, specs, and cost estimates for subdivisions, utilities, and roadways.
• Design and model site grading, drainage, and stormwater detention; produce flood study models and reports.
• Serve as primary liaison for municipal clients and regulatory agencies; attend meetings and resolve issues.
• Provide construction administration support and project coordination during construction.
• Direct and review CAD-produced drawings for accuracy and compliance.
