Job summary

Josh Pros LLC in Newark, OH seeks a Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer to lead complex water and wastewater projects on-site, directing design teams and ensuring quality, budget, and schedule.

You will coordinate with clients, prepare LOIs and proposals, and mentor staff while performing CAD work as needed. This role requires PE in Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months and 6+ years of design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer license in Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 6+ years of engineering design experience; 2+ years in project management preferred.
• Experience with CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools (WaterCAD/WaterGEMS, SewerCAD/SewerGEMS) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete scope of multiple projects, including client care and stakeholder coordination.
• Oversee plan production, technical design management, and schedules to meet standards and budgets.
• Perform CAD work as needed, while directing and mentoring the project team.
• Engage in business development through client visits and LOIs/ SOQs proposals.
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory compliance with Ohio EPA and state standards.
