Job summary

INEOS Oxide is seeking a Project Engineer in League City, TX to support Project Managers on capital projects and interface with engineering firms. You will manage safety, design integrity, and project execution from FEED through commissioning.

The role requires a BS in engineering and at least 5 years of chemical plant experience, with SAP, MS Project and Excel skills. On-site work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical/Mech/Elec Engineering required.
• 5 years chemical plant experience preferred.
• Experience with capital project delivery and start-up.
• Knowledge of ASME/API/ASTM/ANSI/NEC codes advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, health and environmental (SHE) objectives on projects.
• Provide technical direction to contractor staff to meet project goals.
• Lead development of project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate front-end engineering and cost estimates.
• Ensure on-time commissioning and start-up.
• Maintain unit technical records and training materials.
