Job summary

INEOS Oxide is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers on capital projects, interfacing with site engineers, operations, engineering firms, procurement and construction contractors to design, procure, and build equipment to meet project objectives.

The role requires a BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of chemical-plant experience, and knowledge of codes (ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, NEC).

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years chemical plant experience.
• Familiarity with codes/standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, NEC.
• Experience with SAP and scheduling tools (MS Project) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers on capital projects; interface with site engineers, operations, engineering firms, procurement and construction contractors.
• Ensure project designs meet safety standards and lead safety activities (PHAs, MOCs).
• Develop scope, budget, and schedule; manage engineering activities from basic to detailed design through start-up.
