American Sugar Refining, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer, Project Engineering to drive large-scale capital programs across our California operations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications while delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. The role requires 15+ years in manufacturing process engineering or project-focused roles, strong capital-project management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Project and SAP.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering and capital projects.
• Experience managing program budgets, forecasts, schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience with process equipment and implementing process changes in industrial manufacturing environments.

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, and close complex capital programs.
• Develop program investment strategies with stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Safety, Operations.
• Prepare and manage budgets from $2M to $100M, including forecasts and cost controls.
• Secure resources to meet timelines and objectives.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety, PSM, regulatory and company requirements.
• Provide updates to senior leadership on progress and financial performance.
• Mentor project engineers and contribute to design standards.
