Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (Associate or Bachelor).
• PM certification (PMP) is an asset.
• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of extrusion and plastic molding equipment is a plus.
• Strong project management, communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of complex engineering and capital projects.
• Manage project resources, contractors, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities through engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with plant and corporate stakeholders on project strategies.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve technical and engineering challenges.
• Review designs and construction docs for codes and standards compliance.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors and regulators.
• Mentor junior project engineers to ensure project success.
