Job summary

Safran Cabin in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Project Engineer 3 to drive aerospace development efforts across cross-functional teams and customers. You will lead development activities, align schedules with KPIs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include defining development plans, guiding the project team, coordinating with customers and authorities for certification, and mentoring junior engineers to strengthen program execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading projects in aerospace or interiors domains.
• Interiors experience highly preferred.
• Strong ability to mentor junior engineers and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the development plan according to Safran's standard development processes and in line with performance, quality, delivery and cost commitments.
• Lead the project team and manage resources and schedules.
• Provide IPT support with customers and certification authorities (flightworthiness).
• Mentor Project Engineers 1 and 2 on project management practices and tools.
