Job summary

Skanska seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling within the Project Management Team in Portland. You’ll ensure safety, compliance, and efficient project delivery while coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ethical conduct, and delivering value on complex construction projects across verticals, including schools, roads, and hospitals, in a company that values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• RFIs and client correspondence handling related to contract provisions.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specs for submittals and shop drawings.
• Experience preparing subcontract scopes and contracts.
• Experience with project closeout processes.
• Experience working with cost control systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, organize, implement, and schedule projects.
• Ensure projects are constructed safely, ethically, and in compliance with laws.
• Coordinate with project team, clients, and subcontractors based on project size and complexity.
