Senior Project Engineer

Laciny Bros., Inc., is seeking a full‑time Senior Project Engineer to join our team. Since 1916, we have specialized in providing quality custom fabrication across a wide variety of industries and applications. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑level relationships with current and new clients
• Execute site visits to assess project scope, develop projects internally and present solutions to customers
• Manage projects throughout the fabrication process, occasionally including onsite installation
• Maintain key accounts
• Develop new business through superior job execution

Requirements

• Full, working knowledge of a shop floor and a clear understanding of the various fabrication processes
• Minimum of five years of Project Management or sales experience
• Expert problem‑solving capabilities
• Interpersonal skills to excel in a team environment
• Ability to conceptualize/develop solutions from scratch and oversee execution in a manufacturing environment
• Firm understanding of non‑corporate, family business culture

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience within the industry
• Strong background and/or personal experience in metal fabrication techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotech or food/beverage industries
• Elevated working knowledge of sanitary design and fabrication
• Experience quoting jobs and maintaining budgets
• Mechanical engineering degree preferred
