Job summary

Performance Contracting seeks a Senior Project Engineer for its Indianapolis 551 operations based in Carmel, IN. This role will oversee labor control, prepare RFIs and submittals, and coordinate schedules with field supervisors to keep projects on track.

Requirements include a minimum of 4 years in construction management, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication. Local to Indianapolis preferred; OSHA optional.

PCI is seeking aSenior Project Engineer for its PCI Indianapolis 551 operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Prepare RFI’s and submittals
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
• Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program
• Assist in other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $80,000 - 108,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in construction management is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
• A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
• Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships.
• Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.
• Works well under pressure and deadline.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline.
• Experience managing drywall, metal stud framing, and ACT scopes.
• Mechanical installation and clean room preferred.
• OSHA certification.
• Local to Indianapolis area preferred.
