Job summary

Haskell is a top-ranked national design-build firm delivering large municipal water and wastewater programs across the southern and western U.S. The Project Director role offers wide autonomy to lead pursuits, preconstruction, and delivery from pursuit through closeout.

You will manage self-perform work, client relationships, and a cross-disciplinary team, driving safety, quality, and schedule performance on projects typically ranging from $50M to $300M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in heavy civil / water infrastructure construction, with 5+ years in a Project Director or senior PM role.
• PE license and/or DBIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pursuits & Win Work: drive capture planning, go/no-go, teaming strategy for major water pursuits.
• Drive Preconstruction: lead OPCC development, GMP packaging, constructability reviews, and scheduling.
• Own Project Delivery: accountability for safety, quality, cost, and schedule on $50M–$300M+ projects.
• Build People & Culture: mentor project managers and engineers; promote transparency and collaboration.
• Represent Haskell at industry events and maintain strong client/owner relationships.
• Oversee commissioning, startup, and closeout across multiple concurrent projects.
