Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Project Director to lead the pharma/life sciences cost management practice in the US. You will manage major client relationships, drive business development, and oversee strategic projects while mentoring teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role demands extensive construction cost management experience, Chartered status (RICS preferred), and exceptional communication skills to lead client meetings and negotiate complex contracts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in construction with cost management experience.
• Degree in cost management or quantity surveying or equivalent.
• Chartered status; ideally are a member of the RICS.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Strong ability to build relationships with teams and clients.
• Experience leading client meetings with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key account manager in the pharma/life sciences team, developing client relationships based on partnership and trust.
• Use business development skills to engage new clients and repeat projects with existing clients.
• Oversee key strategic client projects.
• Apply cost management experience to achieve project deliverables within contract performance measures.
• Negotiate contract terms and commercial agreements with external clients and contractors.
• Mentor and lead employees to drive top performance and growth.
• Lead the team to deliver impeccable quality and client value.
