Job summary

Fortiva in the US seeks a Project Director to lead major life sciences campus programmes across Virginia and Alabama. You will own delivery, schedules, budgets, and quality, working directly with a global pharmaceutical client and senior stakeholders.

This senior role requires 15+ years delivering regulated capital projects, deep GMP/validation knowledge, and proven leadership of projects, teams and vendors in complex environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years delivering major capital projects.
• Senior Project Director / Programme Director experience.
• Experience with pharmaceutical / life sciences clients.
• Strong cost, programme, engineering and construction background.
• Experience with GMP environments and regulated delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale pharma / life sciences campus developments.
• Oversee cost, budget forecasting and commercial performance.
• Manage programme controls, risk and change management.
• Oversee engineering, design management and technical delivery.
• Lead major contractors, consultants and vendors.
• Manage procurement, commissioning, qualification and handover.
• Handle complex interfaces between buildings, utilities and site infrastructure.
• Ensure GMP, quality, validation compliance.
• Senior stakeholder management with client and project team.
• Establish governance and delivery strategy.
