Job summary

Fluor Corporation in San Juan, Puerto Rico seeks a seasoned Project Director to lead large EPFC/CM projects, ensuring safety, quality, timely delivery, and profitability. You will drive execution strategies, baselines, and client communications across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of project controls, risk and change management, and strong leadership to coordinate with stakeholders and drive project success on complex assignments.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree and extensive work-related experience (typically 12+ years) or 16+ years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, risk management, cost control, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to large EPFC/CM projects to ensure safety, quality, value, timeliness, and Fluor profitability.
• Establish project baselines (OSR-based) and ensure they are documented, updated, and communicated to the project team.
• Oversee project execution in accordance with the contract and Fluor OSIP, ensuring client reporting and close-out requirements are met.
• Provide leadership in proposal management when required, including planning, cost estimating, and execution strategy.
