Job summary

Connect Advisors in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Sr. Project Director to guide complex construction projects from planning through closeout, leading teams and maintaining client relationships with a senior leadership lens.

You will provide strategic oversight, manage budgets and schedules, and drive risk mitigation while aligning with Owner goals across multiple major initiatives. This role requires travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in construction management or owner’s representation.
• Proven success leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client relationships and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of lifecycle phases: planning to closeout.
• Experience with budgets, scheduling, contracts, and risk.
• Proficient with MS Office; PM software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior client relationship leader and trusted advisor.
• Provide executive oversight for planning, design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
• Set project priorities and accountability aligned with Owner objectives.
• Oversee scope, budgets, schedules, contracts, quality, and risk.
• Mentor and develop project staff and teams.
• Guide procurement, contracting, design management, and closeout activities.
• Lead executive-level meetings and decision-making sessions with clients.
• Ensure reporting, documentation, and controls meet company standards.
• Travel to project sites, client meetings, and offices as required.
• Support business development and expansion of client relationships.
