Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Senior Project Designer to lead conceptual and schematic design for architectural projects. You will present design options, shape client goals, and build strong client relationships while driving design excellence.

You will guide and mentor team members, collaborate with project teams, and maintain design intent from inception through construction, with a focus on cohesive site and building design and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial architecture design.
• Licensed Architect preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite and SketchUp is essential.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to develop ongoing relationships and determine clients’ project goals.
• Develop design options for site and buildings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and mentor junior team members in documenting design.
• Follow projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality.
• Coordinate Interior Design team for spec buildings to provide cohesive design.
• Understand work plan and budget and meet hours and deliverables.
