Job summary

Alliiance is a Minneapolis-based architecture and interior design firm seeking a seasoned Project Designer. You will collaborate with lead designers and project managers to develop graphic and written design solutions, create renderings and concept diagrams, and evaluate contextual factors for design decisions.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited architecture program with 10+ years of experience; licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited architecture program with 10+ years of experience.
• Diverse knowledge of architecture principles, practice and design detailing.
• Architectural license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with lead designer and project team to develop design solutions for client approval.
• Create project visuals including renderings and concept diagrams during design phases.
• Research and evaluate project context including site, surroundings and urban planning.
• Evaluate projects against local, state, and federal regulations.
• Analyze and select building materials and systems.
• Communicate design-related topics to team and client.
• Assist or lead client presentations.
• Utilize Revit, SketchUp, Enscape proficiently; some AutoCAD knowledge; Adobe Creative Suite; Grasshopper and Rhino.
