Job Title

Senior Project Design Manager

Job Description Summary

The Senior Project Design Manager will be responsible for supporting the client's Design program nationwide and leading a team of 10-15 Design professionals. They will also contribute to the development of the client's AutoCAD suite of services expansion.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide design support for remodels, new construction, relocations, and redesigns.
2. Develop strategies for design standards to support the client's ongoing brand innovation.
3. Ensure compliance with the design needs of the client's franchise environment.
4. Serve as a liaison from Design to Construction regarding building materials, fixtures, and graphics sourced by the client.
5. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders to identify needs and sourcing opportunities.
6. Review drawing updates to identify material needs.
7. Lead a team of designers implementing standards and designs in Revit.
8. Expand the usage of AutoDesk Cloud software services.
9. Stay informed about industry best practices and adapt to changes to maximize value from the supply base.
10. Track and report on program improvements and financial benefits.
11. Minimal travel required for client meetings and conferences.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management preferred.

Experience & Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in design, construction, and project management.
• Leadership and support skills for managing a team of design professionals.
• Ability to plan and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, design, construction principles, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multi-discipline design teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Office, Outlook, and related software.
